Interfaith Prayer Service for Immigration Reform
January 27, 2011 at 10:00 am

Christ the King Lutheran Church in Houston, TX

Religious leaders in Houston will gather together to pray on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 10 am. It is our hope to have as many Lutheran pastors and leaders in attendance as possible as we are hosting this gathering.

All major denominations along with the Jewish and Islam communities will all be represented to lift our voices in unity around this moral issue. Changes in our country call for a deeper commitment from people of faith. Please, join us in prayer and in learning more about this urgent need for justice.

Participants will share a one hour prayer service followed by an information session.

Bishop Mike Rinehart will be preaching. The press will be present. This is a faithful, yet simple way of advocating for immigrants in our country.

Parking will be available at Rice University Stadium lot across the street from Christ the King. Enter on Greenbriar Drive at Entrance 13B only.
