It is interesting that the new President of TLU is/was an economist. This article makes me a lot more at ease with that.
It would seem that one of the ways forward in the Way is best described by Walter Bruggeman’s “Journey to the Common Good” where he asserts that our current social predicament is best described in the false economics of Pharaoh.
I also wonder if the malaria initiative of the ELCA has been tested through this, because it is certainly cost effective.
