St. John holds confirmation out at their retreat center north of town. The cooks arrive around 4:30 or 5:30 in the morning. 300 chicken halves went on around 7:30 this morning.
They got mopped regularly. In worship we read about Jesus appearing to the disciples on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. When the disciples got to shore Jesus offered then fish and bread by a charcoal fire. It was fun to have the smell of the guys’ charcoal fire infusing our worship as I preached this text.

Angela Bell and the boys.
These guys from the church have been singing gospel for a long time. Always fun to hear their joy.
I cannot think of any more beautiful cathedral in which to have worship.
And not too bad a crowd last night at the Saturday service.
