This past weekend, April 2-3, 2022, Salvadoran artist and Lutheran pastor Christian Chavarría Ayala, visited Bethlehem to deliver the altar piece they commissioned and to visit with the congregation! Special thanks to Christian for his incredible art and profound spiritual presence, as well as to the Redevelopment and Hospitality teams for planning and work hard to make his visit a success! They are hoping to have the new piece stretched and mounted by Easter, so come and check it out soon!

Hace un tiempo me invitaron para hacer un dibujo para una iglesia luterana en Estados Unidos. Hoy vine especialmente para entregar esta pieza que he realizado y finalmente será instalada en el altar de la iglesia luterana Betlehem de la hermosa e incomparable ciudad de Nueva Orleans! Dejo aquí un pedacito de mi patria bella, dejo aquí un pedazo de mi corazón. Gracias querido amigo y hermano Ben Groth por todas las atenciones recibidas, me han hecho sentir muy especial.
