I am privileged to be preaching at Mem1 in Texas City this morning. Mem1 is a Lutherterian congregation that began when First Presbyterian Church in Texas City began renting space from Memorial Lutheran Church in Texas City. Their friendship grew, they started doing more and more events together, began worshiping together, and now have united into one church with two identities. Both congregations were planted within 18 months of each other. This year they are celebrating their 80th anniversary.

First up was the adult Sunday school class, led by Larry Edrozo. They studied Romans 13, “Be subject to the governing authorities.” It was a lively conversation!
Randy Dietzel even allowed me to sing bass.
Assisting minister Sue Edrozo and Pastor Chon Pugh.
