Last year‘s chrism mass was our first after a two year hiatus. It was good to be back together again. This year we saw attendance jump by about 25%. Lots of good conversation, and appreciation of being back together again. Kudos to all who made the special effort to reconnect with one another.

The Rev. Seminarian Evangeline Dai preached, Brother Chris Markert presided, and I led the reaffirmation of ordination and baptismal vows, and blessed the oil. Deacon Lynette Bartel and Pastor Anthony Chatman assisted. I am thankful for Dan Fenn who provided our music, Pastor Chris, who prepared the liturgy, and the staff, who set the table for the service and reception.
