Texas’ bluebonnets are amazing. Having been married to a Texan for 30 years we’d usually visit from Ohio during summer breaks … oh, too hot… and then when our kids got older we managed after Christmas … oh, just right! After hearing about bluebonnets for so long…and thinking them a Texas legend…we finally took a vacation to Texas to see them. Amazingly beautiful and a big Thank You to Lady Bird Johnson for her efforts in getting such plantings started way back when!
