Chrism Mass is an annual service at which we bless the oils for baptism, confirmation, healing, and commendation of the dying. We also reaffirm ordination and baptismal vows. This year the Houston Chrism Mass was held at San José Obrero Synod Office.

The New Orleans Chrism Mass was held at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Chalmette, Lousiana.
